Orange ladybird

This pretty little Orange ladybird Halyzia sedecimguttata was in the moth trap this morning, so I simply couldn't resist blipping him.
Before 1987 the presence of these ladybirds was considered an indicator of ancient woodland, however since then it has become far more widespread. It is readily attracted to light and often encountered in moth traps.
