Bemused Lion.

We had a celebratory day out at the museum to see the “Wildlife Photographer of the Year” exhibition. There are some stunning images though I was a little confused by the one of the mother seal with her new-born pup; it transpired that the wee fella was actually several months old though I thought it was still one of the best pictures. The bad bit was the fifteen minute audio-visual series of projected images with the whole sequence lacking in sharpness, contrast and colour.
 
While photography wasn’t allowed in the exhibition, it is in the other displays. The rather bemused looking lion in the Blip is part of the “Fashions in Sculpture” section; it seems that the artist wasn’t interested in realism.
