When Fergus Decided to Come Back

11.5C with rain most of the morning then clearing for a while before an afternoon of light showers.Light SE/S/WSW/W breeze.

Grocery shopping.

The rain which had lasted all morning began to get lighter so we decided to go for a walk before lunch. We drove the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay.

Seals on the rocks at Kiel
Terns diving offshore at Carskey.
Gannets - flying
A few Ringed Plovers - pottering about on the beach

At Carskey we walked along to the far end and back.
Fergus went running about.
There was a lot of seaweed on the beach today.
The sea was much calmer than last Sunday.

We stopped on the way home to get some local ice cream (Luscious Lemon and Chocolate Fudge Brownie).

Later Apothecary7 was painting with BBC radio2 in the background.

Extra: Carskey Bay, weather clearing with showers still over the Antrim coast.
