Disappointing

Yesterday's fine weather raised our hopes that summer was on its way, only to have them dashed again today when it was back to dull, dreich and disappointing.

I've resorted to blipping a close-up of part of the ancient wrought-iron gates at the entrance to the estate. I like the peeling corrosion.

This evening P is donning her glad rags and attending the BAFTA Television Craft Awards ceremony in London as a nervous nominee. Her category, however, is up against the likes of 'Game of Thrones' and 'The Crown', so I'm not holding out much hope. Still, you never know...
