Old Station for Life

This is an old lifeboat or lifeguard station in the water at Fuseta, in the Algarve.  I find it an intriguing building, which is probably why it has been left unchanged, although it's now unused.  There were small birds nesting in its every orifice when we visited.  The Rio Formosa Nature Park is very close by, so there are birds of many different species.  We saw flamingos while walking nearby.

The extra photo is of the building again, but taken from the air with my Spark.
