Leven Estuary and Hoad Hill

We were in the Lake District over the weekend at a couple of orienteering events. The first was on the west side of Windermere and we went down to Ulverston later to go shopping in the Booths and then went for a wee walk by the Leven Estuary. It was a lovely warm afternoon and the estuary was surprisingly interesting. The blip is looking over to Hoad Hill above Ulverston and the extra of the great sand / mud patterns. It was also the day we saw the first Swallow this spring; winter is coming to an end.
Yesterday’s blip.
