Yew Tree Tarn

The weather reverted back to previous days whilst we were orienteering on Lingmoor Fell. I didn’t get to grips with the style of mapping and my shoes didn’t get to grip with the ground so I had a frustrating run. The blip is Yew Tree Tarn just north of Coniston in the light rain of the early afternoon. We went to see a friend in Maryport in the evening and had an excellent evening with him and his eldest son and sister. We hadn’t seen him for a wee while and it was good to catch up.
