Wound up in Wexford

Clifden suspension bridge

Back blipped on 24th April

Built in 1898, the longest wooden suspension bridge in New Zealand.  The only way to cross the river here prior to its construction was via a punt on a wire.

We were en route to Invercargill.  Our last day on South Island.  We also stopped at Tuatapere for a walk around yet another bit of native bush - I loved the twisted root I've added as an extra.  We also spent some time in an interesting museum at Riverton.

Finally finishing with laundry, and blipping (the first time we'd had reliable WiFi for over a week), and later fish (blue cod) and chips in our motel room, before an early night.
