Proper Planning …

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

It turned back to winter again today.  Eldest Mini Princess, who clearly takes after her mother, had a panic about not having enough t-shirts for her upcoming school ‘trench trip’ to Belgium & France.  We do NOT do light packing.  We like to make sure that ALL weather scenarios are covered.  The recent swing from Arctic snow to tropical heat wave has only reinforced this, so we went shopping.  It must be a full moon because we both went in good spirits and remained in them.  All around us, it seemed that people were unusually cheerful, chatty and helpful.  We also bought cake which may have helped.
 
It felt like a holiday day.  We opted not to cook and had fish and chips for dinner (DROWNED in chippy sauce) and curled up in front of the TV.   
 
I love chilled Sundays.
