Gunther

Gunther needed First Aid today. When he sheds his skin I sometimes have to clear it from his toes, but this time he had a patch over his eye and head. I had  tried putting wet sphagnum moss in his cave which would moisten the skin, hoping  he would be able to rub it off against the pieces of bark in the vivarium. This worked on his head but not his eye which he could not open fully. So out I took him and moistened it with warm water and then rubbed it gently with a cotton bud. Did the trick eventually! He then had a good old roam around the sofa! I think you will agree he looks happy!
