After the Shower

9.7C with lots of bright sunny spells early then heavy showers developing from early afternoon.
Moderate SW/WSW/W/WNW breeze.

Fergus and I went for our walk after lunch. I intended to go to the shipyard. Once again, just as we got to the beginning of Low Askomill, the weather changed. Today a huge cloud came over Beinn Ghuilean and the raindrops started. For something different I turned round and headed the other way and did a loop round the Glen Scotia distillery and the surrounding streets to avoid the shower. By the time we got back round to the harbour the shower had blown out over the loch, so we wandered round the harbour then went along the park and as far as the cemetery before coming back home along the street side of the park and through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (closed for half day).
