Pigeon and Son (or Daughter)

An Addenbrookes Hospital day with a difference. Today was one of the annual Patient-Led Assessment of the Care Environment (PLACE) inspection days. I was able to do both morning and afternoon and went to A and E during the morning and Clinic 1, the fracture clinic in the afternoon. Lunch was excellent a Marks and Spencer gluten-free egg and watercress sandwich with crisps, yogurt and banana.

On arriving home, having not remembered to take any pictures, I saw this pigeon in one of the trees in the marsh area on the other side of our boundary, so this was taken through the kitchen window from a fair way away. Not only is there an adult pigeon, but also a baby.

Warm for most of the day, but with heavy rain as I was driving home.
