This is a sad sight; the replica brig 'La Grace', a training vessel from the Czech Republic broke anchor on Friday during a storm and ran aground on a sandbar just off a Marbella beach.

Today I went to take a look - walking along the wet beach.

The scene is even more poignant in light of the deadly 'Sandy' tropical cyclone that has hit the eastern seaboard of the US - and the loss of HMS Bounty and the death of two crew members.
