Like mother....

Met up with one of my oldest friends today.  (As in person I've known for the longest - not in age!)  We have been friends since Infant School, though our educational paths divided after that point (she went into the private and me comprehensive system).  

Despite that we have remained friends for 40 years!  Connected by childhood music, orchestras / bands.

We meet up regularly if not frequently and her daughter, in this picture, is the only girl of the 6 children we have between us.

Isn't she gorgeous?  The scary thing is I can remember when we were like that!
