Buttoned up

It's been a bit of a knit, taken longer than I would have hoped, but now it's finished I am pleased with it.  The yarn is random dyed and there are no lot numbers, so plenty of variation, but it has worked well.  It is a slightly felted pure wool, so very cosy too.  Just the thing for an Orkney summer!

The edging is an i-cord cast off, which I haven't tried before, but makes a neat finish.
