Silver Saturday Showdown.

A whole day of finals in the Scottish Rugby calendar at Murrayfield. First game was 10am. Five of the six of us went along to the BT Scottish Cup Final where Stirling County RFC were sadly beaten by Melrose RFC. We were still in the game at half time but faded away in the 2nd half: 12-45. We met and saw lots of acquaintances and well known faces from the rugby community. I’m pleased I managed along.
After some food we enjoyed the 1872 Cup game with Edinburgh Rugby v Glasgow Warriors. A record crowd and a tight, exciting game. Edinburgh win: 24-19. Home for tea and toast and a heat at 1030pm.
