Simple and effective.

My younger son is landscaping his back garden. A wee bit of sawing is required at various points. I loaned him my late father’s handmade wee saw block. The block is older than him - my father was dead before he was born. It neatly hooks over the slabs to give a steady, and safe, cutting guide for sawing and rough cutting. Job done.
