Time Flies

It was a ‘waterproofs on’ start to the Walking Team social walk from Albury, but the drizzle stopped at 10, leaving raindrops glistening on the all the fresh green foliage.

Wendy lead us around newly sprouting crop fields, bluebell woodland and through several very old villages. This clock, with its message to parishioners, is on the church tower at Furneux Pelham. The words themselves are fairly standard but the grim reaper above casts a more threatening tone.

Lauren and her friend Zoe were home for a big dinner after their Tough Mudder in Henley. I’m not sure they’ll be able to walk tomorrow!
