Daisy, daisy

We have a very light mower so I thought I would try cutting the grass. However, before I did that, I had to move some things, and, hiding under a shovel, was this newt. I moved him to a safer place after taking his photo.
Last night, we were at a neighbour’s 40th birthday party and I’m pretty sure I didn’t end up like this wee amphibian!!!
I wonder if anyone can guess the link between this great track and the photo!
