Israel & Palestine trip day 6

It has rained on and off all day!

Our hotel was right by part of the wall dividing Israel and Palestine. It is very different on this side. Very challenging. Graffiti on the wall spoke volumes. We visited the House of Hope shop and heard about work among the many handicapped and poverty stricken people in Bethlehem. A not unexpected challenge that left us all in silence for some time. 

The road from Jerusalem to Jericho was a desolate and dangerous pass and even today takes some careful handling. 

Our swim in the warm waters at Sach-ne was interesting; lots of nibbling fish and a hail storm! 

On to our last hotel by the Sea of Galilee by which time the sun came out.
