LET THEM EAT CAKE!!

Thank you for all the birthday wishes to Matthew yesterday.  This is the delicious chocolate cake that our dear friend Belinda made for him.

We had a lovely quiet day sitting in the garden in the sunshine.  Later Belinda and her husband Derek and Henley (very large retriever) came around and we all enjoyed Pimms.

It was great fun seeing Oscar and Henley playing together.  He is absolutely fearless.  It's true what they say that dachshunds are big dogs in little bodies.

The cake was delicious and if there is any left Matthew will take some back for his brother Adrian on Tuesday.

The wind is very cold today so no sitting out.
