Spring Moonset

The only advantage of not being able to sleep that I can think of is being awake when this happens.  Once again the sky was clear, for the second full moonset in a row.  The mountain is the southern end of the Torlesse Range.

Today has been the hottest so far this season.  I'm wearing the clothes that I normally wear in summer.  The sunshine is getting quite fierce.

I left the room for a few minutes and when I returned the two blackbird fledglings were exploring the carpet.
