Rat race

I informed my boss I was taking the day off due to lots of weekend work and travel, which she didn't protest.

I went to London and wandered during evening rush hour and remarked upon the high number of people rushing hither and thither in either fluorescent cycling gear or running attire complete with backpack and water tube. It's a lot of planning to be able to do this on the way home from work and flailing to the occasional yoga class is the extent of my physical activity at the minute.
