Kingcups and flag irises

Our walk today took us past some very marshy expanses which were sparkling with Kingcups. The new blades of Flags meant the Kingcups were playing hide and seek behind, with watery reflections in the sunshine too. A colony of very noisy black headed gulls are settling in just behind. Lovely.

Less lovely was the agricultural mess of plastic and redundant wire, posts, you name it ... grrrr.
