Pink Pom Poms

Slept well, but we were woken up early by the binmen at 7.15......followed by the builders not long after, so we were up early, well for us ;-)

We took ourselves off to the Polling Station on our way into town, stopped off at the Bank, the newsagents, the butchers.......and the cafe! We had an early brunch, as we skipped breakfast and because we are off out for an indian this evening pre quizzing.

I had taken my camera hoping to have a stab at some Street photography, but by the time we came out of the cafe the lovely sunny skies had disappeared and a stiff breeze had got up :-/

Luckily Id taken a couple of shots of blossom on various trees earlier this morning, so here you have one of them.

This afternoon has been spent in the garden.
Between us we have cut back our Thuja fir tree. Its girth must have been a couple of metres around, we've taken a good foot off it all the way round, two thirds up. At the moment its looking a bit like Wilson from Castaway....we need to get the ladders out to finish it off ;-))

Must dash, need to get myself washed and brushed up now :-)
