Exhibition'een

It's the night before the exhibition opening.

All the schools in which pupils have been finding out about George Wyllie and creating their own art, writing, music and drama have completed and delivered their paper boats, sizes ranging from little more than a dot to the Hillhead High boat which arrived today, 3 metres and housing haiku.

The Boat Shed is full tonight with boats from schools in nine different authorities and made by pupils from P1 to S6.

It's the night before the exhibition opening.

The Learning Port is now ready, with the 'Wyllie Wall' on loan from Kilbowie PS in place, and new ideas to welcome school groups when they come to visit the exhibition.

It's the night before the fully-subscribed, invitation-only exhibition opening.

The exhibition hall at the Mitchell is eerily quiet tonight.

It will all be very different tomorrow.
