I'm sorry: I keep quoting Leonard Cohen. But the songs keep coming into my head - like today, when suddenly the leaden sky split above us and there was a crack of blue. Actually the sun never reached us - it's only just suggesting its presence now, hours later - but it had been so depressing for two days that even this little glimmer was hopeful. That is indeed how the light gets in ...
