Pulsatilla

Most of the clumps of Pulsatillas in the Botanic Gardens are beginning to wither but this lighter variety was still going strong.

A time of change in the Botanics  as the hellebores and early flowering magnolias and rhododendrons fade and fall .... we eagerly await the wonderful display of meconopsis that is sure to appear during the next few weeks.
