Shady

Having collected our new car last night we measured it this morning before Mr L set off to collect the garden table and sun umbrella. It was clear that a 3 metre long box was not going to fit, so the necessary documents for hiring a van went along for the ride.

They were all back from Montmorillon sooner than expected and not in a van at all. Happily, having bought the display model, it had been wrapped not boxed. It fitted nicely over the passenger side, resting on the dash. Good job I hadn't gone along.

Even more happily, the umbrella looks far less over stated than it did in the shop. Its proportions seem right for the space that we have and it provides perfect shade for the new table.

I am sat out under the shade at our lovely new table with my phone and just enough WiFi signal from the router to do a little Internet. Beginning to think that I may get the hang of the outdoor lifestyle before too long.
