new lens

So I finally decided what to do with my birthday money!  I have bought a 70-300 lens.  My old telephoto was of poor quality and I really wanted a new one.  The camera bodies that I rented showed me that it really is the lens that counts.  (I do want a new body but that will wait....)

This was first out of the box  - a quick shot of my husband and I am more than pleased.  I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship.
