catbird singing in the old oak tree

I did the 1 day 12 photos today - only made 10 but wow it was fun.  (and hard work!)  Started the morning with a turkey in the backyard - and then caught this one perfectly framed... then later saw some wonderful things at a festival downtown - and then was surprised by a pileated woodpecker in our woodpile.  I'm not feeling bad about missing the last two.

I've included some of my favorites in the extras.  The woodpecker would have been my blip except he was taken thru the screen on the porch and was not crystal clear.
