Minimum Pricing

This bottle of Bier cost me 8 cents.  That's the (refundable) deposit on the bottle.  So it is effectively free.

Bier prices here are funny - I suspect that it is effectively subsidised because in the (almost) 8 years I've been here, it's never gone up in price.  It's still around 3 Euro 30 for a half Liter (some places are cheaper, some dearer).  Checking the Office for National Statistics in Britain it's gone up by just over 20% in the same time.

All that was just to cover up the fact that it was too hot for me today.  I have no get-up-and-go left.  I seem to full of sit-down-and-stop though.  I shall play to my strengths here.
