Blooming Magnolia....

....just down the block, and the only picture I took today. I was trying to get a few things done around the house without twisting or bending--not an easy task! Then I stood in the kitchen looking out the window for awhile, as the spotted towhee was back; I saw this bird earlier in the week and had to look it up, as I'd never seen one before and had no idea what it was. I was pretty excited! I've been keeping my eye on the squirrels, but they haven't attempted to get to my birdseed since I raised and moved the pole, so I'm giving myself a point, which ties me with the squirrels in our battle for yard supremacy! :)))
