The Road to the Isles

I've never felt bored before on the drive up through Scotland but today was a procession from Loch Lomond all the way to Fort William at which point the traffic eased a little. For the first time ever I didn't stop on Rannoch Moor or Glencoe.  The weather conditions weren't very good but it brightened a little as we got north. We stopped at Eilean Donan because Marian wanted a comfort break. I took a photo although I'm sure I have plenty in better conditions.

We're in Skye now and pleased to find that all the suggestions of it being too crowded to breathe were exaggerated.
