Sunbathing

Boo-boo our rooster baby from September 2016 is now a handsome white cockeral, and a very gentle friendly boy. Every day he follows me into the chicken barn, flies up to a perch and waits to be given corn by hand. Usually little Sylvie, our last year's little girl joins him.

On this very hot afternoon, the chickens have gathered under the willow tree and some are sitting on the branches. Boo-boo has found a place quite high up where he can survey everything around him.

Tomorrow is going to be hotter and will be a record Bank Holiday weather wise. It is May Day Holiday in the UK and is not celebrated on May 1st as should be the traditional Workers Day. It is always the first Monday following the 1st, which is tomorrow May 7th.
