A Helper in the Garden

The gardening guys came this morning and did a marvelous job, cleaning out and washing the gutters in and out now the silver birches have no more leaves to fall. They cut down the fern from the asparagus,  cleaned of the dead hosta leaves and laid bark over a new garden space.

They had a little helper who didn't seem to mind that the grass was wet, or that the men's big boots came scarily close. Discretion eventually won out and he hopped up on the wheel barrow to supervise from there.
