Over and done with...

The three-day weekend and these tulips that is - although they have provided me with three blips as well as cheering up the day I was given them. Today has been an added bonus both in terms of the weather and the opportunity to get things done at a reasonable pace. Bailey and I walked a little after eight before it got too warm for him and then I worked this morning and at a few other points through the day. A food shop and a trip after lunch to buy a new iron surrounded by other folk buying fans and lawnmowers. Not that I have made use of it yet as I decreed that it was too warm to iron. Bailey and I had a bit of a snooze this afternoon before a walk after tea and a bit of telly watching to end the weekend.
