Waterfront

A good night's sleep in very comfy hotel beds and we woke up to sunshine and blue skies for the second day. Luckily, the bestest friend remembered in time that the car needed to be moved before eight as neither of us had thought about it before we went to sleep. Once up, we decided to get our own breakfast in a cafe on Brewery Wharf which didn't open until nine so we walked done the river path and almost to where we stayed last January. Crown Point Bridge was looking decorative in the sunshine, although some of its word-based decoration was not as originally intended. Back to the cafe and breakfast in the sun before we headed back home.

Bailey had clearly enjoyed himself with his favourite people and was only vaguely interested in my return. He has spent the rest of the day asleep, apart from a walk around the block when the temperature had dropped. I have been a bit more productive and have sorted washing and cut the grass which had put on a spurt since it was last cut. I also got around to the first draft of a significant bit of writing. And another day of sunshine (and no work) tomorrow.
