Blue Skies and Sunshine

Blue skies all day today and set off beautifully by glass-topped arcades in Leeds. My pre-birthday treat from the bestest friend: a trip to Leeds for shopping and theatre and no going back down the motorway afterwards but an overnight in a hotel with a fantastic view of the city.

Good shopping in some favourite stores and a lovely lunch before we headed to our hotel. Time for a cup of tea and getting changed before we had lovely tapas and then a walk in the sunshine to the Playhouse. Sunshine on Leith did not disappoint: great ensemble pieces and clever uses of the lyrics. They certainly seemed to appreciate the audience’s reaction.

And then back to the hotel on what feels like a Summer’s night with two more days to go of a blue sky weekend.
