Today we hosted a small family BBQ on a day that was weather wise astonishing and perfect for our part of the world  (West Essex UK) in May.  We had a lovely day basking in the sunshine   and I'm delighted to say that Zeus09smum was able to join us in what must be her first 'social ' occasion since she return from her eventful holiday.
Whilst we 'grown ups' were lively at least for the first few hours, Violet, who had been a bit poorly when she arrived was feeling distinctly under the weather.   An hour's nap in a shady part of the garden did the trick and after her solo sleeping (sorry, that is a truly awful link) she was ready to join the rest of us.
  I haven't done MonoMonday for ages, but today I'm making the effort.  Thanks to Merrillhope for hosting this month,
