Day started out gloomy but by mid-afternoon, we had clear blue skies and lots of sun. Our azaleas are blooming like mad now. This is such a pretty color. 

Before and after a walk, I spent a good few hours messing around in my art journal today. I like to find somebody's work which inspires me and then copy it to learn the techniques. I did the same thing with beads - took me a long, long time to develop my own style. I learned almost everything I know about making beads from Corina Tettinger. You can see some of her beautiful work here.

Anyway, I do like what I ended up making in my art journal but since I copied somebody's work, I don't feel good about posting a picture of it.
