Football at El Escorial

Today we visited El Escorial the monastery where all the Spanish Kings and Queens and their children are buried, in magnificent crypts.
We were delighted to be in the company of King Alfonso XIII and his Queen, Victoria. Back in 1906 they visited Fyvie, one of our local castles and planted trees!
Photographs were forbidden within the monastery and so all I can offer is a group of would be Real Madrid football players!
