Life in Newburgh on Ythan

Aberdeen street art

This morning, after yesterday's photographic debacle,  we headed off to Aberdeen to have our passport photographs taken.
Whilst there I took the opportunity to see some of the street art that has recently appeared on the city buildings.
The main photograph is of a work that has been added to the Aberdeen Market. The building is a particularly monstrous concrete structure and the art work has improved it enormously.
The two "extras" are to be found in a dark, dismal alleyway just around the corner.
The passport photograph expedition went well and our online applications  have now been made. The old passports have to be returned to the passport office; why mine has to go to Glasgow and Mrs T's to Durham is one of those eternal mysteries that may never be solved.
