He Always Blips Those Part 2000

It was a long and involved day.  Including one of my most hated things - being asked what you've been doing for the last week.  I just go blank.  And I could tell you about them because I've remembered them all now but you would deliberately make your eyes glaze over to make me stop.

I used to work with someone who did not have the talent to notice that your eyes had glazed over and would quite happily witter away at you for hours.  And they would do that CONVINCED that they were being entertaining AND hugely intelligent - I mean way above anything you were capable of.

I feel sorry for anyone that interviewed him* and asked the question "So tell me about yourself..."  I suspect that after the first hour of the answer, they felt a lot like I did whenever I saw him heading my way.

None of which has anything to do with the first cornflower of the year.  Which is both beautiful and interesting.

*Of course it was a him.  A very grim him.
