Cherry Blossoms

We had the best storm last evening, complete with booming thunder, lightening, and some dime sized hail! While the hail isn't my favorite, it started in tandem with a huge rumble of thunder & was really quite dramatic! My only complaint was that the storm didn't last very long! The storm moved East, out over the Lake, the clouds still looking pitch black, but the sun came out in the West which I was sure would make a rainbow, but I didn't see one. I think the rain was what we needed to get the spring blooms out in force! When I looked outside this morning the cherry tree was blooming, my tulips were open, and my peony bushes are up almost a foot--seemingly overnight! A beautiful day! :))
