Today was a perfect example of Mark Knoffler's lyrics, but I won't bore you with the details, other than to say that lovely sunshine broke though the dismal rain of recent days this afternoon.  The view of the Bosphorus and the Asian side of Istanbul is taken through the window during a particularly absurdly useless after school meeting.  RC Singers concert this evening - and again tomorrow, when I'll take some photos.
