Light and Shadows

...the theme for today's Abstract Thursday hosted by Ingeborg.  This is my take on sunlight and shadows on a patch of grass in the garden. The extra shows a baby starling that was exploring the garden, in the light and shadows.

In other news: last night I resigned my volunteer work at the Shakespeare Hospice.  I find I wasn't enjoying the eBay work as much as I did the Amazon book selling, now completely abandoned by the powers that be.  I've been with the hospice for ten years so I guess it's time to move on, maybe I'll try the Dogs Trust who have a shop in Stratford.  Whilst we were having a coffee in Nero the bookshop manager came in, we had a nice chat.
