Croome Court

We went over to see Chris and Jean this morning.  After tea and biscuits we took off for Croome Court so we could have a little walk with them and their dog, Pudding.

It was then a spot of lunch in the cafe and home.

This evening we met Irma and Geoff, with their friend Julia, at the Washford Mill in Redditch.  This is a place we used to go to many years ago when it was and old country pub with a good range of real ales, decent food and a working water mill wheel in the middle of it.

It's now changed out of all recognition, though the water wheel is still there, now a contemporary eatery, a Miller & Carter Steakhouse, with a decent range of non-meat options.  We had a great evening, good food and fine company.

The picture is the view of the Malverns with a rapeseed field in front.  The white on the fore grass are dandelions of which the grounds were covered, white and yellow.
