Inspired by Tweedy's blip of her finds, I decided to wash these and have a think what to do with them. Well, I got as far as washing them . . . ! Most of them found on the beach below the house, and the rest dug up in the garden.
In the shop in the afternoon and a lovely chat with a couple from Florida. She was a left handed knitter, and we exchanged stories, a lot of laughing and shared problems and disasters, and ways of coping, being part of the one in ten of the population who are in their right minds! Her husband was a blacksmith and had dreams of setting up a smithy in Scotland somewhere. A really nice couple, on their way to Argyll.
