Guess why this bird is called.........

.......Bronzewing!! 
Isn't it stunning! 
This fat pigeon was sitting in the seed bowl stuffing itself silly, so was easy to sneak up to it. I grabbed quite a few images but the sun has to hit the feathers at just the right angle to get the glow. We think we have a breeding pair close by as we hear the low sound they make, early in the morning.

We were up early this morning to drive 30 minutes to see Miss E play her second ever game of netball........cute!  Then back to Dunsborough to watch Master H to "play" his second ever game of soccer........really cute! :-)))
